Built in 1913, the Garden Bowl stood as the metro-area's oldest and largest bowling alley for several years at one point its two levels featured a billiard's tournament area and more than 20 lanes. Today, the Garden's second level is the trendy Magic Stick pool hall and the lower level hosts some of Detroit's hottest DJ-spun dance parties. The nearby Majestic is a live music venue that has featured the likes of Buddy Guy, Johnny Winter, and Los Lobos.
